i am licensed in minnesota for cosmo. but i am thinking of relocating to atlanta. will i need more hours of training?How many hours do i need of training to work in a salon in georgia?
If your State has reciprocity with Georgia, you only need to file an application and pay the fee.
Contact your State board of Cosmetology for info regarding reciprocity.

im in NJ but have been doing hair for over 12 years. Many states go by how long you have been licensed. do a search for transferring cosmo license to GA.

The good news is that it is not difficult to find good georgia hair designer schools nowadays as there are now a lot in Georgia. Compared to before when I think we were only able to find 5 from the towns nearest to ours.
