How old do you have to be to get a membership @ a tanning salon?

When i was 12, this girl in my class got a membership at our local salon.. 12 is pretty young.





It should depend on what salon you go to.How old do you have to be to get a membership @ a tanning salon?
probably 18. However, please do some research on how bad tanning is. The UVA light from tanning beds appears to be 2 to 3 times as bad as the UVA light from the sun, which is still bad for you.





Do you know anything about Malignant Melanoma? It is a very unpleasant, deadly, and not to mention UGLY cancer.

There is no such thing as a ';base tan';. And 20 minutes in a tanning bed equals a whole day at the beach, as far as damage and cancer risk.





Tanning also causes dull skin, wrinkles and leathery skin. Yuck!

i think that you have to be around 15 or so but i would call your local tanning salon and ask it may just depend on where you go
