Which is a better name for a salon?

My sister in law is thinking of naming her salon, which is in an upper class area of northern California, Salon Vie. There were other suggestions like Onyx and Jade; what do you think?Which is a better name for a salon?
Salon Vie sounds elegant when pronouncing it. But I don't know about its meaning . . I know it means ';Salon Life'; though . .Which is a better name for a salon?
Onyx if she caters to black client猫le and Jade if she caters to Asian client猫le. Both names are great in my opinion....
