I will be starting a Salon next year. Any tips on getting started and whether to offer booth rentals?

If you do offer booth rentals make sure you tell them that they can't take your walk-ins, booth rentals usually have their own clients, but some of them just don't understand. What my mom did when she owned a salon was that if the booth people took her clients they could only get the commision of it. Like if you have workers they're usually paid commision, whether it be 50-50 or you get 55 and the workers get 45. So if the booth rentals get one of your walk-ins you use the commision deal on them. Am I making sense? lol
